Privacy policy

Last updated 9 October 2026. The short version: the organiser's details and the trip go to the people who price and fly it, nobody else, and never for sale.

Whose site is this?

Quote requests submitted on this site are handled by Charter Jet One, the air charter broker that operates Split Jet Cost. When this policy says "we", that is who it means.

What lands with us when you send a request

• The organiser's name, email and phone number.
• The trip: one way, round trip or multi-city, the airports, the dates, how many are flying, who pays, and anything typed in the notes, such as who joins which leg.
• Whether the organiser ticked the box for occasional group deals.
• How the request reached us: the page it came from, the referring page and any campaign tags in the link, such as utm_source.

The split calculator runs entirely in your browser. Nothing typed into it, including travellers' names, is sent to us.

Why we use it

To find aircraft and prices for the trip, to make the arrangements if the group books, and, only with the organiser's agreement, to send the odd group deal or empty-leg offer by email. A reply asking us to stop is enough to end those.

Who else gets it

The operator who would fly the group, and the service providers needed to quote and book, such as ground handlers or caterers, each limited to the details its job needs. We do not sell personal information, and advertisers never receive it.

How long we keep it

As long as the request and any trip that follows require, plus whatever period tax, accounting or other laws demand. If a request goes nowhere, it is deleted or anonymised once it is no longer useful.

Seeing, fixing or deleting it

Ask us for a copy, a correction or deletion whenever you like: reply to any email you have received from us, or leave a note via the quote form. We may check it is really you first, and we keep what the law requires us to keep.

Cookies

Only those strictly needed to run the site. There is no analytics, advertising or tracking code. Fonts are delivered by Google Fonts, which sees the basic technical information that comes with any web request.

Children in the group

The site is for adults organising travel. Details of children flying with the group are used only to arrange their seats on the trip.

Keeping it safe

Requests travel encrypted and only the people working on your trip can see them. Please do not put passport or card numbers in the notes; we ask for anything like that separately, if and when it is needed.

Changes

When this policy changes, the date at the top changes too. A significant change will not be applied to information we already hold without telling you first.
