How group booking works

Four steps from idea to wheels-up.

One organizer holds the booking. The split calculator does the math. We hold the aircraft and the operator relationship.

1 Submit the trip

Route, date, headcount

Send your origin, destination, dates and passenger count — or pick a sample trip above. We confirm cabin size and aircraft class for your party.

2 Get three quotes

Three priced aircraft

Within minutes you receive three binding quotes from FAA Part 135 operators — different cabins, different tails, all with firm totals.

3 Split the bill

Equal or custom

Run the calculator above. Divide evenly, or weight by cabin / leg / role. Each payer sees their share to the cent before anything is booked.

4 Book & fly

Whole cabin, one party

One charter agreement, one aircraft, your group only. We coordinate FBO, catering, ground and discreet handling — 24/7 from departure to arrival.

Satisfaction

One cabin. Your whole party. Nobody else.

No shared seats with strangers. No airport chaos. The jet is yours for the day — and the bill is split fairly across everyone in it.

Bachelor trip, eight guys, one cabin. Everyone got an itemized share by text and paid from their phone. Zero friction, zero awkward math.
Best-man trip organizer
Flying the whole wedding party down together cost less per couple than first-class — and we left from the private terminal ten minutes from home.

FAQ

Split & group booking, answered.

Can each person pay separately?
Yes. While one organizer typically holds the booking, we can structure settlement so multiple payers contribute by card or wire toward the trip total. The split calculator shows each person's share to the cent before anyone pays, and we coordinate the settlement method that fits your group — one consolidated invoice or itemized sub-invoices per payer.
What happens if someone cancels?
The aircraft is booked for the whole cabin, so cancellation terms follow the operator's charter agreement, not per-seat rules. We recommend naming the group up front and agreeing how a dropout's share is covered (the remaining party absorbs it, or the organizer holds a deposit). Travel insurance for charter deposits is available and we can quote it alongside the aircraft.
Do you invoice the organizer only?
The primary contact and charter agreement holder is the organizer, but settlement can be split across multiple payers. You choose: one consolidated invoice paid by one party, or itemized sub-invoices per payer that reconcile against the trip total. Both are common — the right call depends on whether this is a friends' split, a corporate cost-center allocation, or a family office settlement.
What is the minimum group size?
There is no minimum group size for whole-jet charter — you book the aircraft, not a seat. The economics simply get stronger as more people share the cabin. Groups of 6 to 14 are the sweet spot for light and midsize jets; heavy cabins (Falcon 900, Challenger 605) seat up to 12–13; ultra-long-range cabins (Global 7500, Gulfstream G650ER) seat up to 19.
Can we mix seats with an empty-leg?
Empty-leg aircraft are sold as a whole cabin on a fixed repositioning route, so you cannot buy a single seat on one. However, if your group can fill the cabin and your schedule fits the empty leg's date and direction, splitting the empty-leg price across your party is one of the best values in private aviation — often 40–60% under standard charter. We surface matching empty legs alongside your binding quotes.
How is the split calculated when cabins or routes differ?
Start with the whole-aircraft trip total from your binding quote, then divide equally or by custom weights — for example, by cabin (principals in the front club, team in the back), by headcount per leg if some passengers only fly one way, or by role. The calculator at the top of this page handles equal splits instantly and custom weights via the toggle.
