About
Charter for groups, with the maths done
Split Jet Cost is an air charter broker for groups. We find the right aircraft, price it all-in and give you a fair way to share the bill.
How it works
One person organises the trip and sends the request. An advisor finds suitable aircraft from certificated operators and sends options, each with an all-in total: the charter price, the federal excise tax and segment fees on domestic US flights, and known airport charges. The group uses the calculator to agree shares, the organiser signs the charter agreement with the operating carrier, and everyone meets at the private terminal.
The standards behind every flight
Every trip is operated by a direct air carrier certificated under FAA Part 135, or the foreign equivalent abroad, and that carrier keeps operational control of the aircraft. We confirm the operator's certificate and insurance for the aircraft concerned, and we tell you which independent audits apply, such as ARGUS ratings, Wyvern Wingman or IS-BAO registration.
What to expect
- One advisor for the organiser, from first message to landing.
- Quotes that show every charge, with estimates labelled as estimates.
- No membership or deposit to ask, and no obligation to book.
- Pets welcome on many aircraft with the operator's approval, and bags planned before the day.
What we are not
We do not own or operate aircraft, sell individual seats or collect separate payments from each traveller. The charter agreement is between the organiser, or their company, and the operating carrier; how the group shares the cost is up to the group.
